OPHC Youth Club

The youth club voted to hold dog races after the Ashland Labor Day show has concluded on Saturday evening. The last dog races we held brought exhibitors together and our goal is to keep it fun and organized. We appreciate everyone’s involvement and hope you will support the races as you did previously. Unlike the last race when the funds were earmarked for year-end awards, these funds will be donated to a charity. The club fielded numerous ideas and chose to donate to a horse rescue. Everyone felt with the poor economy, these facilities need help now more than ever. The youth also want to donate their time to the horse rescue. The youth club president, Allison Hill, is currently researching various horse rescues for the club to choose.
